
Ingredients

- 1 cup Urad dal (soaked for 4 hours)
- 1 inch ginger
- 2 green chilli
- handful curry leaves
- 1 Tbsp oil
- salt to taste
Step by Step Procedure to make Medu Vada

Step 1
Take the soaked Urad dal and grind it to a smooth paste.

Step 2
Now take the batter into a mixing bowl and add crushed ginger and chilli .

Step 3
Now add the Curry leaves and salt to taste and mix well.

Step 4
Now take an Idly plate / steamer plate and grease it with oil.

Step 5
Also grease hand with a drop of oil and make Vada shapes with the batter in the steaming plate.

Step 6
Steam the batter for 10 minutes.

Step 7
After steaming (the Vada should be of idly texture),Now take the Airfryer and On the Airfryer by selecting
Air Fry —> start.

Step 8
In the tray add steamed Medu Vada’s and grease them with oil. Air fry for 2 minutes on “Air fry” mode.

Step 9
Taddaaaa!!! Crispy Air-fried Medu Vada are ready to serve.
