Onion Samosa is one of the most popular street food in many states of India. Let’s see how to make this yummy recipe in a super easy way.

Ingredients

- 1 cup maida
- 1 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup thin poha
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1tsp Jeera powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- pinch of turmeric
- salt to taste
- oil to fry
Step by Step Procedure
- Take a mixing bowl and add maida and a pinch of salt . Now pour some hot oil (1tsp ) and using a spoon try to mix it later add required water to form a chapati dough consistency.
- Set the dough aside for 15 minutes, covered with a damped cloth or tissue.
- Now take a bowl and add onions, all dry spices and salt to taste . Mix well.
- Now add some thin poha to this mixture.Mix well and set it aside.
- Now from the samosa dough prepared take a small chunk of the dough and make a large flat bread or chapati out of it .Now cut the edges and cut this chapati into two equal rectangular pieces.
- Later heat a tava and semi cook the flat breads/ chapati .
- Now take these semi cooked flat breads roll it to make a cone shape .
- Make a paste of maida and water to stick the edges of the cone . Add the onion filling prepared before inside the cones and seal the edges well.
- Now heat oil in a pan . First drop an extra cut flat bread and see if the chip is fried well.
- Now add the samosa and deep fry .Remove the samosa after it is cooked well or turns brownish color.
- Tadaaaa!!!!
