Vadapappu and Panakam are the prasasdam that are severed in Andra Pradesh and Telangana on a Sri Rama Navami festival in every temple. Lets see how to make 3 different styles of Vadapappu.

Ingredients

Kobari Mamidikaya Vadapappu
- 3 Tbsp soaked moong dal
- 2 Tsp grated Raw mango
- 1 Tsp grated coconut
- 1/2 green chilli
- salt to taste
Bellam Vadapappu
- 3Tbsp soaked moong dal
- 2 Tsp Jaggery crushed
- 1 Tsp grated fresh coconut
Vadapappu
- 3 Tbsp soaked moong dal
Step by Step Procedure
Vadapappu
- This is most traditional form to offer as naivedyam on Sri Rama Navami .

Step 1
Take a cup of Moong dal and soak it for 30 mins .

Step 2
In bowl drain water and soaked moong dal . Tadaa !! Vadapappu is ready!!
Bellam Vadapappu

Step 1
Now in a bowl add 3 Tbsp soaked moong dal.Now add 2 tsp of crushed jaggery to it.

Step 2
Now add grated coconut and mix well . Tadaa!! Bellam Vadapappu is ready!!
Kobari Mamidikaya Vadapappu

Step 1
In a bowl take 3Tbsp of soaked moong dal.Add grated raw mango to it .

Step 2
Then add chilli and grated coconut.Add salt to taste and squeeze few drops of lemon juice .

Step 3
Mix well … garnish with coriander leaves.Tadaa!!! Kobari Mamidikaya Vadapappu is ready!!
