
Aloo Gobi is a simple traditional North Indian vegan curry recipe that is very easy to make and a delight to your taste buds. This can be served with roti, naan, poori, basmati rice, jeera rice etc..
This simple Aloo Gobi recipe mentioned below is apt for any vrat day as this has no onion or garlic and this is so easy to make especially for beginners in cooking can for sure give it a try.
Ingredients

- 1 cup Aloo ( Potato chopped into cubes)
- 1 cup Cauliflower ( chopped )
- 2 Tbsp OilĀ
- 1 Tsp Kasuri methi ( Dry fenugreek leaves)Ā
- 1 Tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 Tsp Coriander powder
- 1 Tsp Garam masala powderĀ
- 1/2 Tsp Aamchoor powder ( Dry mango powder )Ā
- A pinch of TurmericĀ
- A pinch of Asafoetida Ā Ā
- 1 Tbsp Red Chilli powder
- Salt to tasteĀ
Step by Step Preparation

Step 1
Take a pan and add 2 Tbsp oil to it.

Step 2
As the oils starts to heat, add cumin seeds.

Step 3
After the cumin seeds start to splatter, crush the kasuri methi leaves and add them.

Step 4
As the crushed kasuri methi leaves turn aromatic, add turmeric and asafetida.

Step 5
Add aloo and cauliflower and stir.

Step 6
Now add some salt and mix well and let them cook( low to medium flame).

Step 7
Check if the aloo is softened.Ā

Step 8
After the aloo is cooked, add the dry spices: coriander powder, red chilli powder, aamchoor powder and garam masala. Mix well.Ā

Step 9
Tadaaa!!! SuperĀ easy and quick Aloo- Gobi curry is ready to serve.Ā
